SAMUEL BIN

 

卞氏生於香港,及後入讀演藝學院修讀文憑及學士(榮譽),其間隨著名小提琴家何紅英女士習琴,在學其間曾擔任演藝樂團副團長,第二小提琴首席。
卞氏畢業後加入城市室樂團(CCOHK),多年和多位音樂名家合作。

卞氏熱衷演奏,多年來在香港獲邀到處演奏,他也是室樂組合R.E.D 三重奏和樂友匯的創團成員。

除演奏外,卞氏亦活躍教學,多年來曾任教於多間音樂機構及中小學。曾舉辦大型教學活動及大師班。卞氏現任教於赤柱聖士提反書院附屬小學及香港青少年管弦樂團。

Born in Hong Kong, Samuel Bin obtained his Bachelor of Music (Honours) degree from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts majoring in violin and studying under the renowned violinist Hong-Ying Ho. During his years in the Academy, he was the second concert master and the second violin principle in the orchestra. Samuel joined the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong upon graduation.

Samuel was invited by various orchestras and organisations to perform around Hong Kong; he was the member of the R.E.D. Trio and is one of the founding member of Classicfever.

Aside from performing, Samuel is also a devoted teacher; he has been teaching in various institutions and organised masterclasses and events for his students. He is now teaching in St. Stephen's College Preparatory School and Metropolitan Youth Orchestra.
